Winter Weather Update: The Community Center will remain CLOSED Thursday morning. Breakfast service and morning activities – including exercise – are canceled. Staff will make a decision regarding lunch service in the morning, 2/20.
Week of February 17 | Winter Weather Update
Tuesday, February 18
We are OPEN for breakfast service, 7:30-8:30am
For lunch: We are running the DRIVE THRU from 10:30-11:30am. You can pick up the lunch you ordered for Tuesday. If you did NOT order lunch for Tuesday but would like to pick something up, notify us of your menu choice—beef wellington or garlic butter chicken. We must have your order by 8am Tuesday morning. We will also hand out breakfast and lunch for Wednesday that you can refrigerate and reheat on Wednesday.
Tuesday activities are CANCELED.
The birthday celebration is POSTPONED until Tuesday, Feb 25.
Wednesday, February 19
We are CLOSED on Wednesday. The dining room will not be open and activities are canceled.
Thursday, February 20
Celebrate is POSTPONED until Thursday, February 27. (Even if the snow/ice isn’t that bad, it will be extremely cold.)
We will wait to make a decision about breakfast and lunch on Thursday later in the week.
Winter Weather Plan for Thursday, 2/13/25
-Drive thru breakfast from 7:30-8:30 – please enter on the NE corner of the CC and exit by CW (the building will be on your driver side)
-Open for lunch
-NO Exercise or Cheer Club
-Will check in about 7s Card Game & Men's Poker in the morning, to see if people still want to meet

The IL flu clinic has been rescheduled; it will now be 10/20/22 from 11am-1pm at the Commons East. New forms will need to be completed but we can still use insurance card copies that were already submitted. Residents will be notified when the new forms are available.
Friday, Februrary 25th – The Community Center is closed; no meal service and no activities.
Friday 2/25 – breakfast and exercise are canceled. Open for rehearsal and lunch.
Tuesday, 2/22 – pick up Winter Weather Meal Kits between 3:00-4:30pm. Pick up via drive-thru north side of the community center, just like we did during Covid
Wednesday, 2/23 – community center / dining CLOSED due to expected ice accumulation early in the morning on Wednesday
Thursday, 2/24 – expecting to be closed but we will update you later in the week
Celebrate will be RESCHEDULED to early March
Friday, 2/25 – stay tuned for updates. If ice accumulation is significant throughout the day on Thursday we may still be closed for breakfast
Bradford Village staff is carefully monitoring weather reports over the next few days. As of Monday 2/21/2022, we have NOT made any decision regarding closure of the community center, but are making preparations in the event we have to close due to severe weather. We are asking that residents stay weather-aware and stay tuned in to Call Multiplier messages in the event we have make any closure announcements.

Friday: closed
Saturday: closed – brunch rescheduled for next Saturday, February 12th
