Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
When you request information from us, we ask you to fill out a form that requests some basic information about your interest in Villagio of Bradford Village and how we may contact you. We also ask Virtual Resident applicants to identify a relative or friend who is a resident or staff member at Villagio of Bradford Village. We will contact that individual to verify that they support your membership.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Virtual Residents
Except for comments you have posted and media files you have uploaded, all of your information will be deleted within thirty (30) days of your membership being terminated. Your membership is terminated upon request or when your resident sponsor no longer resides at Villagio of Bradford Village Independent Living
Residents
Your membership is terminated when you cease to reside at Villagio of Bradford Village Independent Living. At that time, your user profile information will be archived in our “Past Residents” section, where it will remain available indefinitely for viewing by current residents and staff.
Staff
Your membership is terminated when you cease to be employed by Villagio Senior Living. At that time, your user profile information will be archived in our “Past Staff” section, where it will remain available indefinitely for viewing by current residents and staff.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Your contact information
Your information is used solely to process your membership or request for information. If you are a member of My Bradford Village, we will also use this information in the production of our Resident Directory and Management Team Directory. If you submit a form on the site, we will use your information to pre-fill some of the form fields for you.
By policy of My Bradford Village, this information will never be sold, given, rented or traded to others.
Additional information
How we protect your data
We take steps to harden the files that make up the Web site from malicious access. Your password is encrypted before it is stored; therefore we do not have the ability to view it. If you forget your password we can help you set a new password, but we cannot look up your forgotten password. All files and information on the site are ID and password protected. Our Web security is reviewed regularly, and includes the automatic lock-out of suspected malicious activity.
What data breach procedures we have in place
We proactively monitor the site to look for malicious activity. If we detect that unauthorized access to member data has occurred, we will notify all users of the site and terminate all active user sessions, requiring users to reset their passwords before they can log in again. We will also analyze the breach in order to further refine our security settings.

By becoming a member of My Bradford Village, and/or by using our Web site, you consent to the collection and use of the information you provide to us as described above. You acknowledge that the information available on My Bradford Village is protected by the HIPAA act and is intended solely for active members of the site. You agree not to disseminate said information to any entity (individual or organization) which is not an active member of the site. Misuse of this information will result in revocation of your My Bradford Village membership and prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.
